New Minimum Wage: Youth Corpers Receive 33,000 Naira

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari on 18th of March 2019, signed the new minimum wage into law, the law as implemented will usher in a new payment structure for Workers across the country.

EkoHotBlog reports that the new minimum wage law is in effect as National Youth Corpers received increments in their allowance for the month of January, 2020, Corp members will now earn 33,000 monthly , an over 40% increment from the previously earned 19,800

The increase in pay has generated awe and celebrations across the country as majority of the corp members never believed the law could ever be enforced.
