EDITORIAL: New Year’s Message To Our Readers – ‘Thank You’
-
Our new year’s message to you our esteemed readers – We say a big ‘Thank You’
As 2021 comes to a blessed end, we pause to thank Lagosians, dozens of thousands of our daily readers and hundreds of our advertisers. It is certain that without you, we can’t continue to tell the fascinating story of our beloved Lagos, and nation.
We do hope everyone had a lovely holiday season, and while you have stepped into 2022, we wanted to send you our very hearty New Year’s wishes from everyone here at EKO HOT BLOG.
At EKO HOT BLOG, we want you to know we are proud of our reporting in 2021, just as we are busy with big plans for 2022 and thankful for the support that you, our readers gave to us all through 2021.
Every New Year brings a time of reflection – of what we’ve accomplished in the past year, what our new goals will be for the coming year and much more for what we are grateful for.
We want you to know that you are the reason we can do what we do, and enhance the quality of life through our online media platform. It is because of you, we can give voice to those who are not being heard, and also provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and perspectives.
As we embark on our 4th year of continuous publishing and serving our readers with stories without ever missing a day, we have resolved to continue our aggressive push for an open accounting of public officials; to pursue every story, around the clock, from multiple angles and to offer a full explanation, clarity, and follow-up on relevant local subjects; continuing our proud tradition of offering the most penetrating, cost-effective advertising solutions on our media platforms.
We shall not fail to continue to embrace new technologies to meet our readers where they are; tell stories in exciting new formats, and keep our readers and advertisers connected in real-time; just as we continue to give generously of our time, talent, and treasure to support the wide variety of worthy local causes in Epe and Lagos, like we have long and quietly backed both through our non-profit arm and those run by others we admire.
We promise to continue to dedicate the overwhelming percentage of our resources to highlight the terrific things happening in our community, nation and around the world.
Our only requirement is that you, our readers take on that resolution, in this new year, to continue making our media platform your number one go-to for all your news needs.
If you’re reading EKO HOT BLOG every day, then this year 2022 is for you.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the last 12 months of EKO HOT BLOG.
We love this industry and we hope it really shows on every one of our pages, on our blog, on our Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook pages.
Have a great 2012.
