The Nigeria Football Federation on Friday celebrated ex-internationals Austin Okocha and Samson Siasia on their birthdays.
Siasia, a former Super Eagles coach turned 53, while Okocha clocked 47.

Both former players were part of the Eagles side that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1994 in Tunisia.
Siasia played 51 matches for Nigeria, scoring 16 goals and represented the country at its first World Cup in the US in 1994.
Celebrating the legendary striker, NFF wrote, “Happy birthday to former @NGSuperEagles forward and coach, Samson Siasia. Africa Cup of Nations winner, Olympic Silver and Bronze medallist.”
In a tweet to celebrate, Okocha the NFF wrote, “Happy birthday to the magical, Okocha. Too good he was named (BBC player of the Year) twice. Have a good one legend.”
Okocha played for the national team between 1993 and 2006 and won the BBC African Footballer of the Year awards in 2003 and 2004 consecutively.
He also won the African Cup of Nations in 1994 and Olympic gold with the U-23 national team at Atlanta in 1996.
