For the first time, NFL games will not be able to come up in London after plans to stage four matches in the capital were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The game which has never failed before now, started in 2006 which most of its fixtures did come up among states in the United Kingdom.
The NFL that wishes to stage part of this 2020 fixtures in Wembley and Tottenham decided yesterday, 4 May 2020, that game will be taken to Mexico also in partnership with the United Kingdom.
NFL UK’s managing director Alistair Kirkwood said: “The NFL’s London Games have become a major part of the NFL season and the UK sports calendar.

We all know that the game has always featured other teams from other countries but due to coronavirus, the plans to take the game to Mexico and the United Kingdom would be abolished to avoid stressful traveling.
However, NFL executive vice-president Christopher Halpin said the international play would return next year.
“We greatly appreciate the support of our governmental and stadium partners in Mexico and the United Kingdom, who all agree with this decision, and we look forward to returning for games in both countries in the 2021 season,” he said.
