Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was just struggling to be a banker right from her childhood, but the determination with persistence has taken her somewhere else better.
Okonjo-Iweala is one of the Nigerian citizens who have gone beyond fifty years of age but worth emulating by youths who have been dreaming to be great in life.
Well, let us look at the biography of this great woman who has been doing excellently well nationally and internationally.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was born on 13 June 1954. She is a Nigerian-born economist and international development, expert. She sits on the Boards of Standard Chartered Bank, Twitter, Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), and the African Risk Capacity (ARC).
Moreover, we should also know that Okonjo-Iweala spent a 25-year career at the World Bank as a development economist, scaling the ranks to the Number 2 position of Managing Director, Operations (2007-2011). She also served two terms as Finance Minister of Nigeria (2003-2006, 2011-2015) under the leadership of President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan respectively.
So, when Nigerian Youths are lamenting over the appointment given to the Nigerians of the older generation, that why are youths not being elected, I do feel embarrassed.

Youths want to attain the position of leadership but the two attributes that I used for Okonjo-Iweala in my first paragraph could not be found in them. The persistence with determination is the key to attain an imaginable position in life.
Without these two characteristics, Nigerian Youths will just be referred to as the leaders of tomorrow in verbal, not in action.
