NIDCOM Chairman, Abike Dabiri-Erewa paid a condolence visit to the family of  Nigerian killed in Canada

 

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Chibueze Momah at their Lagos residence.

Recall that Momah, 22, and Tosin Amos-Arowoshegbe, 25, were gruesomely murdered at a club in Vaughan, Ontario, on July 23, 2022.

 

According to reports, the deceased youngsters worked at the ATL lounge in Vaughn, Ontario as security guards.

 

Before the arrival of the Police, the assassins who committed the dastardly act were said to have fled the scene.

 

The police, in the statement issued, said that investigations are on top gear to fish out the suspects linked to the shootings.

 

During the visit, Dabiri-Erewa beseeched the Almighty God to bestow the family the fortitude to bear the colossal loss of their beloved son who was said to have barely graduated in Computer programming a few months before he was lost to the cold hands of death.

 

Reacting to the visit on behalf of the family, the father of the deceased, Ikechukwu Momah, was grateful to the NIDCOM top brass and her team for the prompt visit and thereafter appealed passionately for a thorough investigation into the darkish circumstances surrounding the death of his son to get justice.

 

“I thank you Madam and your team for the prompt visit and intervention and I also plead that a thorough investigation into the matter is carried out,” he said.

 

Described as an easy-going and peace-loving youngster, Late Eze had just turned 22 in May 2022 before the tragic incident which has no doubt put his family in excruciating pain and agony.

Having graduated with honours in computer programming at Durham College, the only heir in a family of five anticipated his first entry-level work experience.

 

It was gathered that to shore up his finances with a bid to bring his sisters to Canada, Eze took up menial jobs as a security guard and a cook in the family restaurant.
