Eko Hot Blog reports that the reconnection came after Jumoke George raised concern during an interview on the “Talk to B” show hosted by Abiola Bayo, revealing that she had not heard from her daughter in four years.

Following the interview, Abiola Bayo reached out to the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), whose Chairman contacted the Ag Nigerian High Commissioner, Amb Ugo Chime, to help bring Adeola back home.
NIDCOM Chairman/CEO Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa welcomed Adeola in Lagos and thanked Amb. Ugo Chime, Abiola Bayo, and Actor Niyi Johnson for their assistance in the process.
Adeola expressed her gratitude for everyone involved and shared her story of being deceived by a fake job offer that led to a forced slavery situation, from which she resisted and ultimately found her way back home.
The NIDCOM Chairman emphasized the need to be cautious when considering job opportunities abroad to prevent further cases of exploitation and slavery.

However, upon her arrival, she discovered she had been sold to a “madam,” a situation she courageously resisted.
Overwhelmed with shame and disappointment, Adeola refrained from contacting her family during her ordeal. Now safely back in Lagos, she expressed immense joy and relief to be reunited with her loved ones.
Prior to her disappearance, Adeola had been residing with her grandmother in Ibadan and was last seen before her supposed trip to Lagos.
Abiola Bayo, host of “Talk with B,” extended her heartfelt appreciation to the Federal Government for their swift intervention in Adeola’s case.
