Nigeria COVID-19 Death Toll Hits 1000 As NCDC Confirms 322 New Cases

The number of people who died from the virulent COVID-19 infection in Nigeria is now 1002.

This development is contained in the daily situation report of COVID-19 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control which is posted on its official twitter page.

The agency also disclosed that the country has confirmed 322 COVID-19 cases.

According to the agency, of the 322 fresh cases, 130 are confirmed in Lagos, Bauchi-36, FCT-25, Edo-17, Bayelsa-14, Ogun-14, Oyo-14, Anambra-13, Kaduna-12, Ondo-11, Abia-10, Osun-6, Plateau-5, Kwara-5, Kano-4, Ebonyi-3, Sokoto-2, Borno-1.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 52,227 confirmed with 38,945 discharged and 1002 recorded.
