Ekohotblog reports that Nigeria’s men national team has dropped 2 spots on the latest FIFA ranking.
The Super Eagles, who were ranked 34th in the world in the ranking released in September, dropped 14 points to 36th.
According to the list released on Thursday by the world football governing body, the three-time AFCON champions also maintained their fifth position on the continent behind Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria.

The men’s team drop in the rankings was largely due to their 1-0 home defeat to Central African Republic in their 2022 World Cup qualifier earlier this month.
Although the super eagles had their revenge in the return fixture by winning 2 – 0 but this proved insignificant in helping them maintain their spot in the ranking.
Meanwhile, Belgium and Brazil maintained first and second places respectively in the world with France replacing England in third spot.
