EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Arewa Women For Tinubu (AWT), a faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC), claims that if Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s national leader, is elected president, Nigeria will reclaim its former glory.
Tinubu’s talks and alliance with the various political blocs in the North ahead of the 2023 general election, according to the president of the Arewa Women for Tinubu, Hajiya Sa’adatu Garba Dogon Bauchi, are vital to his success.
Tinubu’s awareness of the country’s political trajectory and recognition of the importance of the North in elections, she added, indicate that if given the mandate, he will lead an inclusive government.
She promised that the Arewa Women would rally support for the former governor of Lagos State across the North, ensuring that he would replace President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
“He has visited numerous Northern states since his announcement than he has visited other sections of the country in solidarity,” Hajiya Dogon Bauchi stated. He has demonstrated his affection for the victims of bandit attacks and other vices in the places he has visited by providing money to them.
