Nigeria is One of the Most Interesting Countries in the World – Okonjo-Iweala

The Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has commended Nigerians for their resilience and entrepreneurial spirit in the face of global challenges.

She encouraged Nigerians to take pride in being part of one of the most dynamic countries in the world.

Okonjo-Iweala made these remarks on Tuesday while celebrating Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.

In a post on X, the WTO Director-General emphasized that despite the difficult circumstances, Nigeria is home to some of the most innovative and entrepreneurial individuals globally.

She expressed her gratitude, saying, “Although times are tough both internationally and nationally, we should recognize that we come from one of the most fascinating countries in the world, filled with some of the most exciting and entrepreneurial people! I truly appreciate this and thank God for it!”
