Nigeria Records 113 New COVID-19 Cases, Toll Now 61,306. Deaths 1,123; Discharges 56,557
On Saturday, Nigeria recorded 113 fresh COVID-19 cases.
The new cases was revealed by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), via its twitter handle, stated further that the cases were recorded in 13 states of the federation and Abuja.
According to NCDC, four persons died from complications resulting from the virus on Saturday.
The number of COVID-19 death count increased by four from 1,119 to 1,123 as at Saturday night.
Likewise, the overall number of verified cases increased to 61,307.
However, 56,557 patients have been discharged from different isolation facilities across the country.
State-by-state figures of new cases includes Lagos (37), Kaduna (16), Ogun (11), Plateau (11), Taraba (8), Rivers (7), FCT (6) and, Enugu (4).
Others are- Niger (4), Edo (3), Delta (2), Imo (2), Benue (1) and, Kano (1).
NCDC stated that: “61,307 cases of #COVID-19 in Nigeria.
“Discharged: 56,557 AND Deaths: 1,123.”
