Nigeria Records 216 New Cases As COVID-19 Toll Crosses 6000 Mark
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday announced that the country has confirmed two hundred sixteen new cases of COVID-19.
The agency made the announcement in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 216 cases, 74 are confirmed in Lagos, 33 in Kastina, 19 in Oyo, 17 in Kano, 13 in Edo, 10 in Zamfara, 8 in Gombe, Ogun and Borno, 7 in Bauchi and Kwara, 4 in FCT, 3 in Kaduna and Enugu, 2 in Rivers.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 6175 with 1644 discharged and 191 deaths recorded.
