Nigeria Records 245 New Cases As COVID-19 Toll Hits 2802

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday announced that the country has confirmed two hundred and fourty five new COVID-19 cases.

The agency made the announcement in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.

According to the agency, of the 245 fresh cases, 76 are Lagos, 37 in Kastina, 32 in Jigawa, 23 in Kano, 19 in FCT, 18 in Borno, 10 in Edo, 9 in Bauchi, 6 in Adamawa, 5 in Oyo, 5 in Ogun, while Ekiti, Osun, Benue, Niger and Zamfara all have 1 case each.

This new development brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 2802, of which 417 have been discharged with 93 deaths recorded.
