Nigeria Records 248 New Cases As COVID-19 Toll Hits 4399
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Sunday announced that the country has confirmed two hundred and fourty eight new COVID-19 cases.
The agency made the announcement in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to NCDC, Of the 248 cases, 81 are confirmed in Lagos, 35 in Jigawa, 26 in Borno, 20 in Bauchi, 13 in FCT, 12 in Edo, 10 in Sokoto, 7 in Zamfara, 4 in Kwara and Kebbi, 2 in Gombe, Taraba and Ogun, 1 In Osun and 1 in Bayelsa.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 4399, with 788 discharged and 143 deaths recorded.
On the 9th on May, we announced 45 discharged cases & 4 deaths in FCT
Due to system error, 32 discharged cases and 2 deaths were wrongly announced
Therefore, FCT recorded 13 discharged cases & 2 deaths on May 9 2020
