Nigerian-American Rapper, OG Maco is Dead
- OG Maco, 32, passed away weeks after critical hospitalization.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that his family confirmed the news on Instagram on December 27, describing his life as “a testament to resilience, creativity, and boundless love.” They added, “While we grieve this immense loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he lived.”

On December 16, the family revealed that Maco was in “critical but stable condition” at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His manager, Poppa Perc, told AllHipHop at the time that the rapper was on life support and undergoing tests, requesting prayers as he fought for his life.
OG Maco rose to fame with his 2014 breakout hit “U Guessed It” and became a prominent name under Quality Control, collaborating with artists like Diplo and Migos. He was also featured in XXL’s 2015 Freshman Class.
