Nigerian Soldiers Brutalize Nigerian Lady For ‘Not Greeting’

Merely weeks after the whole nation took to nationwide demonstration to protest against brutality by men in uniform, Nigerian soldiers, who were infamously responsible for the sour turn of the peaceful protests have once again played the villain in this latest script.

In a viral video making the rounds on social media, a Nigerian lady whose name is unknown as at the time of filing this report is seen nursing her right arm and pouring invectives on the soldiers who had descended on her after she failed to greet them while passing by.

The incident, which took place in Shangotedo area of Lagos State, has sparked widespread rage among Nigerians on social media who are dismayed that brutality by men in uniform in Nigeria is yet to be effectively stamped out.

In the video, the aggrieved lady could be seen repeatedly yelling “Because they’re in army uniform and I did not greet them. I should have knelt down for you? I should lie down on the floor for you? Because you’re in army uniform and you have a koboko”.

A closer inspection of her arms also showed a massive bruise as a result of the maltreatment suffered at the hands of the Nigerian soldiers.
