The British Council at it’s 75th anniversary in Nigeria, celebrated Nigerians who have impacted their communities positively after participating in the council’s initiatives.
The Country Director, British Council Nigeria, Lucy Pearson, said that the approach was rooted in partnering with reliable United Kingdom and Nigerian organisations to make huge contributions.
Pearson stated that, “We have a reputation for listening, which has brought us a range of partnership organisations that invested in our programmes. Our partnerships cut across the Federal Government, state governments, non-governmental organisations and the private sector.”
Also, The Chief Executive Officer of an Abuja-based organisation, Indie Educational Consult, Indianavon Dangaru, announced that during her participation in two of the council’s initiatives-Connecting Classrooms for Teachers and Business Acceleration Bootcamp, she was equipped with the 21st-century approach to classroom management in an inclusive school setting.
