Nigeria’s COVID-19 Toll Reaches 168,000 As NCDC Confirms 91 New Cases

  • Total cases confirmed – 168,000
  • Total cases discharged – 164,405
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,122

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 168,000 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 6, the NCDC reports 91 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 8 states – Lagos-66, Kwara-12, Rivers-4, Kaduna-3, Oyo-3, Ekiti-1, FCT-1 and Plateau-1.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from Kaduna and Sokoto states.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,405 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 2,122.
