Nigeria’s Falconets will face either Japan or Austria in the round of 16 at this year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

The Falconets advanced to the knockout stage following a dominant 4-0 victory over Venezuela in their final group match on Saturday.

This win marked their second in the group stage, having started their campaign with a 1-0 victory over South Korea.

Finishing second in their group, the Falconets are now set to meet the winner of Group E in the next round.
