Nigeria’s Top Music Star, Wizkid, Says ‘I Have Enough Music to Retire’

Eko Hot Blog reports that Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has made a striking statement, claiming that he possesses an abundance of music recordings that could sustain his retirement.

The celebrated singer, who recently celebrated his birthday on July 16, 2023, disclosed this revelation during an interview with Capital Extra’s Manny Norte.

During the interview, Manny Norte mentioned Wizkid’s statement about having enough music to retire, to which Wizkid responded with a laugh, saying, “Come on, my brother. And we are still recording music every day [laughs]. So, imagine how much music I have now.”

Furthermore, the acclaimed Afrobeat artist dropped hints about his upcoming sixth studio album, exciting fans with the prospect of new music.

He confidently stated, “I have a new album ready, bro. It’s a new Wiz’s album. I’ll be releasing a new song next week. It’s just a matter of days, my friend.”
