NIMC Discloses Benefits Of NIN As Nigerians Continue To Protest Enrollment

  • Good news for Nigerians as they can now perform some transaction with the National Identification Number.

After multiple botched attempts at generating and keeping information about every citizen in a national data base, the government would appear to have made substantial progress in that direction through the present NIMC.

Sadly, many Nigerians are not comfortable with the situation and challenges posed by the organization, these includes mammoth crowd at registration centers, inefficiency and alleged extortion of money by staff of the commission for easy registration.

Irrespective of the challenges faced during registration, every Nigerian with National identification number will in turn benefit from the development as a popular saying goes thus: ‘Nothing good comes easy’.

The National Identity Management commission via twitter revealed the benefits of having a “NIN”.

So, “NIN” holders can use their “NIN” to do the following things in Nigeria as revealed by “NIMC”.

Here are the things that “NIN holders” can use their “NIN” to do.

1) “NIN holders” can use their “NIN” to open a “bank account”.

2) Also, “NIN holders” can use their “NIN” to register for “national exams”.

3) Nigerians can also use “NIN” to verify the identity of an individual.
