EKO HOT BLOG reports that to sustain the economic drive of the Federal Government and expand the Nigerian economy for accelerated revenue and job creation, about nine ministries will submit a new working policy document to the Federal Executive Council in the next six weeks.
This initiative was disclosed by the Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa-Musawa, in a recent interview.

The Minister stated that the aim of this policy document is to boost economic growth, create job opportunities, and raise revenue for the country.
This effort comes in response to the need for a comprehensive strategy to address key challenges affecting economic reforms and stimulate development across various sectors.
This announcement follows the presentation of the Accelerated Stabilization and Advancement Plan (ASAP) by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, to President Bola Tinubu.
The ASAP outlines eight priority areas aimed at stabilizing the economy and fostering development in critical sectors.
While the specifics of the proposals are yet to be unveiled officially, the plan reportedly includes provisions for Agriculture and Food Security, Oil, Gas, Power, Health, Social Welfare, and Business Support.
These areas have been identified as crucial for sustainable economic growth and job creation.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, emphasized that the ASAP policy proposals are still subject to further scrutiny and analysis before being presented to the public.
This underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring that the proposed measures are thoroughly evaluated and aligned with national development objectives.
In her interview, Minister Musa-Musawa highlighted the collaborative efforts of nine ministries in formulating the new policy document. She emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagement in driving economic stability and growth.
The proposed policy aims to raise $100 billion in revenue by 2030 and create job opportunities for at least two million Nigerians in the creative and entertainment industry.
Minister Musa-Musawa expressed confidence in the feasibility of this target, citing the potential for economic expansion and job creation in various sectors.
She outlined several strategies for achieving this goal, including enhancing intellectual property protection, infrastructure development, and strategic investment in key industries such as film, music, fashion, and culinary arts.
