NJC Approves Retirement Of Two Judges, Throws Out Petitions Against 18 Others

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has recommended that two judges be compulsorily retired over allegations of age falsification.

As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, it also dismissed petitions against 18 others and recommended the appointments of 69 Judicial Officers in various capacities.

A statement issued on Sunday by the NJC’s Director of Information, Soji Oye, said the decision followed the Council’s 93rd Meeting which held virtually in Abuja on December 16.
