NLC Urges State Lawmakers To Approve New Minimum Wage, Says, It’s Criminal For Governors Not To Pay

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has urged state house Assembly across Nigerian states to approve the new minimum wage.

The organized labor also noted that it was criminal for any state governor not pay the new minimum wage.

The General-Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Mr Emmanuel Ugboaja, disclosed this on Sunday during a press interactive session in Lagos.

Ugboaja stressed that any Governor who refused to pay the new minimum wage should be impeached, adding that, such governor had no business running a state.
