EKO HOT BLOG reports that on Saturday, the NNPCL moved approximately 300 trucks to the 650,000-barrel-per-day refinery in Lagos, with loading commencing the following day.
Addressing the price of premium motor spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, NNPCL’s Chief Spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, clarified to Daily Trust that the initial loading price was ₦898 per litre, refuting claims that it was ₦760 per litre.
“We successfully loaded PMS at the Dangote Refinery today. The claim that we purchased it at ₦760 per litre is incorrect. For this initial loading, the price from the refinery was ₦898 per litre,” Soneye stated.
Soneye also confirmed that over 70 trucks had been successfully loaded as of the time of reporting.
