Kwankwaso has broken silence on ‘stepping down for Tinubu, Atiku

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has refuted claims of stepping down from the 2023 race.

This was as Kwankwaso refuted plans of forming an alliance with the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Kwankwaso described those behind such claims as being mischievous.

Addressing journalists in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Sunday, the NNPP presidential candidate insisted that the report of an alliance with other parties was rubbish.

According to Kwankwaso: “Some people are terribly mischievous and I don’t see how any of these four political parties at this critical time will accept joining one another.
