No Fatality Recorded As NCDC Confirms 49 Fresh COVID-19 Cases

• Total cases confirmed – 165,901
• Total cases discharged – 156,459
• Total deaths recorded – 2,067

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,901 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated May 19, the NCDC reports 49 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new infections were recorded in 7 states – Lagos-21, Rivers-16, FCT-5, Kano-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Ebonyi-1 and Ekiti-1.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 156,459 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,067.
