Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has denied ever giving money to human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) or his son, Falz, for a presidential pardon.
This statement follows the 12-hour ultimatum issued by Falana and his son, demanding an apology from Bobrisky over claims made in a viral audio clip shared by media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) last month.
In the audio, Bobrisky allegedly stated that Falana and Falz had contacted him while he was serving a six-month sentence for naira abuse, offering to secure a presidential pardon in exchange for ₦10 million.

However, a letter dated October 14, 2024, from Falana’s legal representatives, Olorunfemi Akinyemi and Taiwo E. Olawanle, accused Bobrisky of making false and defamatory claims about the lawyer and his son. The letter described the allegations as unfounded and harmful to Falana’s reputation.
The legal team demanded a full retraction and public apology to be published on all platforms where the false claims were shared. If Bobrisky fails to comply within 12 hours, Falana intends to pursue legal action, including monetary damages.
In response, Bobrisky took to Instagram to deny the allegations, stating he never gave money to the Falanas for a pardon. He argued that VeryDarkMan, who released the audio, should take responsibility for the content. Bobrisky also claimed he was not the person in the viral audio clip and had not made any defamatory statements about Falana or Falz.
