Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has declared that President Bola Tinubu is destined to remain in power until 2031.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that Igbokwe made this statement in a Facebook post on Tuesday, expressing confidence in Tinubu’s presidency.
Tinubu emerged victorious in the 2023 presidential election under the APC platform, securing a four-year term.
He triumphed over other notable candidates, including Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
As the president’s current term is expected to conclude in 2027, Igbokwe asserted that Tinubu would seek re-election and serve another four-year term, effectively remaining in office until 2031.
He further discouraged other potential presidential candidates from entertaining the idea of clinching the presidency in 2027, asserting that Tinubu’s contiued leadership is inevitable.
He said, “If any presidential candidate is dreaming of winning presidential elections in 2027 I will advise that candidate to perish the thought till 2031.
“PBAT is destined to remain in the seat of power till 2031. He needs eight years to set the record straight.”
