Nollywood Actress, Joke Silva Campaigns For Tinubu’s Victory

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva, has taken to social media to pray for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Shettima, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Joke Silva, who marked four decades of acting recently, shared photos from the grand Lagos rally held days back and expressed her support for Tinubu, stating that “by God’s Grace, the ticket is his and Shettima’s”.

She also thanked Kemisola Adesoye and Mrs. Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, SA to the President on SDGs, for their efforts in the campaign.

The actress had publicly declared her intentions to campaign for Tinubu in October 2022, joining other Nollywood stars who had declared support for him. She also joined the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Ibijoke Sanwolu, and other women in the Lagos rally.

Despite receiving attacks from online users, Silva remained resolute and turned off her comment section. She captioned her posts, “Lagos Women March for APC. And this is only the women oh”.

Silva is a well-respected figure in the entertainment industry, and her support for Tinubu may influence some of her fans to vote for him in the upcoming election.
