Nollywood Actress, Kemi Lala, To Debut As Director In Lavender
She might have made a splash on the Nollywood scene especially with roles in films like Dazzling Mirage and The CEO, directed by Tunde Kelani and Kunle Afolayan respectively but those who really know Kemi Lala Akindoju can attest to her passion for stage play.
And having participated as an actress for the past few seasons, she has announced her decision to debut as a director debut this year with a play titled Lavender.
The stage play, which is being presented by The Make It Happen Productions, is owned and run by Kemi Lala Akindoju while featuring notable stars including Kehinde Bankole, Deyemi Okanlawon, Oludara Egerton-Shyngle, and Rita Edward.
According to the producers of the play, the decision of the young woman popularly known as Lala in Nollywood circles is sequel to the success of her one-woman show, Naked’ which premiered at the Lagos Theatre Festival last year.

In celebration of her birthday, the daughter of Nollywood star actress, Omotola Jalade and her hubby, Captain Ekeinde, now has a car to call her own.
The young woman, named, Princess, who got a BMW car from her famous parents to celebrate her 22nd birthday.
According to Omotola, who posted a short video of her daughter excitedly checking out the car to her over 3.5 million followers on Instagram, posted a message with it. “Congratulations! And princess gets her first Car from Daddy!

41-year-old Omotola had posted lovely photos to celebrate her daughter, who graduated from a University in Northern Cyprus back in January, on social media earlier before sharing the video of the new car.
