Nollywood Actress, Louisa Nwobodo Slumps, Dies
Veteran Nollywood actress, Louisa Nwobodo is dead.
In a press statement released on Wednesday, 16th of September, 2020, former Chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Enugu Chapter, Stan K Amadi, said the actress died at the age of 78.
She slumped in her car in St. Mulumbas Catholic Church, New Haven, Enugu on Sunday, September 13th, 2020,
She was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Louisa Nwobodo is dead.
Her body has been deposited at the mortuary pending her funeral arrangements.
Prior to her death, she featured in hit movies like Johnbull and RoseKate and had carved a name for herself in the industry.
Her death is coming a week after another veteran Nollywood actor, Yekini Oyedele Omobolanle died.
Ekohotblog reports that Baba Legba as he is popularly known died on Monday, September 7, 2020.
Before his death, Baba Legba was known for playing comic roles along with Baba Sala.
Baba Legba joined Alawada Theatre Group in 1974 and sometimes played roles of herbalist, police officers.
