Nollywood stars Funke Akindele and Wunmi Toriola have emerged as the highest-grossing lead actresses of 2024, according to FilmOne, a movie distribution company.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the announcement was made on their Instagram page, @filmoneng, on Monday.

Funke Akindele secured the top spot with her blockbuster film Everybody Loves Jenifa, while Wunmi Toriola claimed second place for her performance in Queen Lateefah.
Toyin Abraham ranked third with her hit movie Alakada: Bad and Boujee, followed by Tomike Adeoye in fourth place for Ajosepo. Eniola Ajao landed fifth position for her film Beast of Two Worlds: Ajakaju.
Other top contenders include:
6th: Kehinde Bankole for Funmilayo Ransome Kuti.
