Nollywood Legend Emmanuel France Is Dead

Veteran Nollywood actor Emmanuel France has passed away. He was known for his roles in films such as Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director.

His death was confirmed by Nigerian filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe, who shared the news on Instagram on Monday, expressing his sadness and recalling their memories together.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ogedengbe wrote, “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France. One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director. R.I.P.”

As of now, the cause of France’s death has not been confirmed.

His passing follows shortly after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry, whose demise was announced by producer Stanley Ontop via Instagram.
