The dual celebration serves as a powerful reminder that in times of change, strength is found in unity.

The presence of Nollywood luminary Jide Kosoko added a touch of glamour, making this investiture and New Year celebration truly unforgettable.
Ikeja Club, described by one of the foundation members as “a child of circumstance” came into being following the realisation of the need for a serene place of decent relaxation and socialisation after work.
The initial idea came from Alhaji A.T. Animashaun, who drew from his experience as a member of the Black Table in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.
He invited Late Chief S.O Onasanya and Late S.A. Otunkoya. The three gentlemen met at the then Victoria Hotel, Ikeja, where Animashauan disclosed his vision of a prominent social club.
The three founding fathers agreed to invite other friends who attended the maiden meeting on 27 July, 1966 at Victoria Hotel, Ikeja.
For almost 58 years, Ikeja Club has provided a relaxation home for thousands of people with various games, including billiard, chess, and lawn tennis, amongst others.
