Normalcy Returns To WhatsApp After Two-Hour Outage

The instant messaging service WhatsApp has now resumed operations after being unavailable for more than an hour.

Eko Hot Blog reports that users of WhatsApp noticed that they were unable to send or receive messages as well as update their status at around 8:20AM on Tuesday.

It was learnt that the application was unavailable everywhere as users from various areas vented their annoyance on Twitter and other social media platforms.

However, it was seen that users began getting messages at 9:45AM, and sent messages started indicating that they had been sent.
