The Governors of the North Forum on Saturday comforted former Kano state governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, over the death of his father, Musa Saleh Kwankwaso.
The deceased was the chief of the Madobi district at Kano.
The chairman and governor of the Plateau, Simon Lalong, described the death as a great loss for the traditional institution.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Lalong’s message was signed by his spokesman, Makut Macham.
“Although his death was painful, his legacy of service, love and compassion remained indelible as he has influenced the younger generation to continue on his tracks.
“We sympathize with the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, the government and people of the State, as well as the Kano Emirate Council over the demise of the elder statesman”, it read.
Lalong prayed that God would give the soul of the deceased eternal rest and comfort the family.
