The American Singer, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna, is among the celebrities who condemned the arrest and detention of peaceful protesters on #OccupyLekkiTollgate protest.
Recall that after a heavy security operative mounted the venue where the Occupy Lekki protest was to take place, a few protesters and including the popular comedian Mr. Macaroni were arrested by the members of police, even though the protesters explained that they have gone there for an observation only.
Although reports now have it that they have all been released, following the directives of the Lagos CP on Saturday night, but the Nigerian – loved American singer, Rihanna has shown her feeling towards the arrest of the innocent, harmless peaceful protesters.
In a tweet posted by her on a twitter account named @rihanna, she declare that peaceful protests are the right of the people, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
This tweet has provoked some to speculate, People have been arguing about what she has said while many people have praised her and others have said otherwise.
