EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has revealed that her childhood dream has always been to collaborate with Barbadian-American superstar, Rihanna.
The rising star, who gained fame with her hit song “Sability,” disclosed this during her appearance on Elle’s Game of Song Association. According to Ayra, Rihanna is her “queen” and her number one dream collaborator.
Ayra expressed her admiration for Rihanna’s music and how it makes her feel confident. She said, “I grow up listening to Rih. She’s my queen. I love her, I love her music. She makes me feel confident when I listen to her. I just love Rihanna. Everything Rihanna, I love it.”
This is not the first time Ayra Starr has expressed her admiration for Rihanna. In an interview with UK-based Kiss FM, she revealed that Rihanna has influenced her fashion style.
It remains to be seen if the two music stars will ever collaborate on a project, but Ayra’s dream collaboration with Rihanna has sparked excitement among fans.
Ayra Starr, whose real name is Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, is a singer and songwriter signed to Mavin Records.
She released her self-titled debut EP in 2021, which was well-received by fans and music critics alike. The EP features six tracks, including “Away” and “Ija.”
