EKO HOT BLOG reports that Morrison Godwin, a notorious armed robber who has terrorized Sapele and its surroundings, has been caught by a police surveillance patrol in Sapele Division, Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State.

The 38-year-old suspect, who is claimed to be on security’s watch list, was also found with one locally-made handgun and seven live cartridges.

According to a report by Daily Post, the alleged criminal was arrested at his residence in Ojolu area in Sapele.

The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammad Ali confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

According to DSP Edafe, “Upon searching his house, one locally made pistol and seven live cartridges were recovered.
