NPFL: Daniel Amokachi Aims For Winning Start With Lobi Stars

Former Super Eagles forward Daniel Amokachi aims to kick off his tenure as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Lobi Stars with a victory.

Lobi Stars will face off against Niger Tornadoes in the North Central derby at the Bako Kontagaro Stadium in Minna today.

Amokachi stepped into his role this week after the dismissal of the previous head coach, Eugene Agagbe.

The Makurdi-based club has had a challenging start to the 2024/25 season, managing just one win, one draw, and three losses in their first five matches.

Last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Shooting Stars marked their first win of the season.
