Eko Hot Blog reports that Shooting Stars of Ibadan maintained their unbeaten streak, after securing a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Gombe United at the Pantami Township Stadium on Tuesday.
The hosts took the lead through Taiye Yusuf in the 28th minute.
Gombe United held on to the lead for the remainder of the first half.
Hadi Mohammed equalised for Shooting Stars 14 minutes from time.
Both sides’ attempts to determine a winner were unsuccessful until the central referee, Igwe Chilaka Ben from Rivers State, concluded the proceedings.
Shooting Stars have now increased their point haul to 31 following the stalemate.
Gbenga Ogunbote’s team will now play against Akwa United at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan for a matchday 24 fixture this Sunday.
