Lobi Stars have defended the decision to part ways with head coach Eugene Agagbe.
Philip Nongu, chairman of the Pride of Makurdi, addressed the media at the Mccarthy Stadium, explaining the rationale behind the move.

Nongu stated that Agagbe was unable to meet the performance targets set for him by the club.
“The board gave him a clear target, but he couldn’t deliver,” Nongu emphasized.
“With the club’s performance deteriorating, we had to make a change.”
