NSCDC Arrest Men Who Gang-Raped Girl For 21 Days

Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Nasarawa State Command has arrested three out of four suspects over the alleged abduction and rape of a 19-year-old girl.
Jerry Victor, Public Relations Officer of the command, made this known while parading the suspects in Lafia.
He said Muntari AKA Uzor, 34, Dahiru Ibrahim, 29, Isah Nasiru,31, were apprehended after painstaking efforts while the fourth suspect, Kamalu is currently at large.
“Today, we are parading three suspects in connection with the case of abduction, molestation and rape. A complainant came to our office concerning the case which has to do with his daughter. The incident which concerns a driver named Ahmed Muktar and his cronies happened around Nyanya-Mararaba in Karu Local Government Area,” the PPRO stated.
“The prime suspect, Muntari AKA Uzor, lured his victim one Fatima Ibrahim (f) 19yrs into his vehicle and whisked her to an unknown location in Jos Plateau state, where he threatened, molested and raped her severally. He later took her back to Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital and handed her to one Dahiru Ibrahim who also raped the victim. The prime suspect later took her back to Jos Plateau state where he handed her again to one Isah Nasiru who also molested, and raped her
“It was as the result of the victim narrating her ordeal to someone in Lafia that Dahiru Ibrahim was arrested, and other suspect too after trailing the prime suspect who is a driver, both in Mararaba Nyanya axis and Jos. He was finally arrested in Jos and transported to The state Command, of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa state Command, Lafia
“One suspect, Kamalu who resides in Jos, is still evading arrest. The victim will be taken to hospital for medical Examinations. Investigation is ongoing, after which they will be charge to court of competent jurisdiction for prosecution.” he added.
Fatima the victim while narrating how the incident happened, said she went out to see a friend and while on her way she met Murkar who promised to take her to her friend’s house but deceived and abducted her.
“On my way going to my friend’s house, Muktar stopped me and convinced me that he would drop me off at my friend’s place. I entered his Sharon vehicle then after a few minutes, I slept off only to find myself in an unknown location. He took me to a place where I stayed for 21 days. He and some other guys had sex with me severally before he returned me back to Lafia.” she narrated.
While thanking the NSCDC for arresting and suspects, the father of the girl Alhaji Ibrahim said he was going to do everything within his powers to ensure that they face the wrath of the law for the damage they had done to his daughter.
Reacting to the allegation, Ahmed Muktar who claimed Fatima was his girlfriend, denied abducting her but admitted having sex with her.
“As a driver, I only helped her by giving her a lift. I admit sleeping with her but it was only once. She is my girlfriend and I didn’t abduct her,” he said.

“The state Command of the NSCDC will not relent in its effort to rid out criminal elements in the state. Crime and criminality in the state MUST stop.
