The Bayelsa State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, is enveloped in sex scandal involving one of its officers alleged to have defiled two minors aged 10 and 12, PM News reports.
The NSCDC member attached to Oil surveillance I houseboat in the creeks of Nembe Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, was said to have lured the underage sisters at separate times to his apartment in Nembe-Bassambiri community where he allegedly committed the act.
The case has been reported at the Police Division in the area.

According to the victims’ mother, the incident is already causing the children psychological trauma.
Meanwhile, the command has confirmed that it received a report regarding the alleged defilement of two underage sisters in Nembe by one of his personal.
In a statement issued to journalists in Yenagoa, the command’s Public Relations Officer ASC 1, Diri-Ogbere Solomon, stated that the Corps was on top of the matter and that if the information was found to be correct about the alleged crime, the suspect would face the full wrath of the law.
He stated that the situation was being handled appropriately as disciplinary measures were being instituted, adding that the agency would not hide any of its personnel found to have committed such a crime
