EKO HOT BLOG reports that one 65-year-old Rojaiye Balogun has been arrested by the Ogun State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), for allegedly raping his 17-year-old daughter.

The Ogun NSCDC Commandant, Kolawole Taiwo, told newsmen on Thursday, that the man was nabbed on Wednesday at Imomo-Ijebu, Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of the state.

According to Taiwo, a relative of the victim had reported the case at the Anti-Human Trafficking, Irregular Migration Unit of the command.

Meanwhile, Balogun had denied being the victim’s biological father, saying he slept with her once at a time her mother travelled.

However, the victim disagreed with the suspect, saying he is his biological father and that he raped her four times.

She alleged that her father once promised to give her N1,000 to allow him to sleep with her, “and I refused, but he forced himself on me.”

The teenager stated that her mother had refused to believe her several times the matter was reported to her, stating that an uncle took her to the NSCDC office to report the case.
