EkoHotBlog reports that a total of forty-four (44) Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have been promoted across various ranks in Zamfara State.
Speaking to journalists, Sani Mustapha, the state commandant of the NSCDC charged the recently promoted officers of the Corps to be prepared for any difficulties that may come with their new positions.
The Commandant challenged the officers to view their promotion as an act of God and a summons to higher service in the Corps while speaking during the decoration ceremony for the newly promoted officers at the State command headquarters in Gusau.
He remarked that the officers had been promoted to represent the Corps with pride and he urged the decorated officers to take initiative and exercise discipline in all circumstances.
Mustapha extolled the magnanimity of the Commandant General, Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi for the opportunity to the officers, reiterating that the promotion was part of the vision and mission of the Commandant General in ensuring that staff welfare is prioritized.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commandant, Muhammad Andi Garba, who is the most senior officer among the newly promoted officers, thanked the management of the Corps, especially the Commandant General for the promotion of the officers in Zamfara State Command.
He assured the Corps of the readiness of the promoted officers to give their all in the best interest of the organization.
