NUT Epe Branch Holds Successful Intensive Tutorial for Confirmation Examination Candidates

In a strategic effort to bolster professional competence and support academic excellence among its members, the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Epe Branch, under the dynamic leadership of Comrade Sanni S.O., has successfully conducted a comprehensive Intensive Tutorial Session for teachers preparing for the upcoming Confirmation Examination.

Ekohotblog reports that the impactful session, which took place at Epe Girls Junior High School, spanned over three hours and featured both physical and virtual participation.

Teachers from various schools across Epe, including Primary, Junior, and Senior Secondary levels, were in attendance.

The inclusive nature of the session was further exemplified by the virtual participation of educators from Ise and Ajebo communities via a specially coordinated online platform.

The tutorial was tailored to address the four critical components of the Confirmation Examination: Financial Regulations, Common Laws, General Knowledge, and Civil Service Rules.

It featured experienced facilitators who delivered insightful presentations that were both informative and practical.

Speaking during the event, Comrade Sanni S.O., Chairman of NUT Epe Branch, expressed pride in the dedication of teachers and the collaborative spirit that defined the session.

“This tutorial is part of our ongoing welfare programs aimed at empowering our members to attain greater heights in their professional journey.

I am proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by everyone involved,” Comrade Sanni said.

He further encouraged teachers to remain focused and assured them of continued support from the union.

The Principal of Epe Girls Junior High School, who hosted the event, also commended the initiative and lauded the union for creating such an enabling platform for professional development.

“It is indeed commendable to see this level of dedication. Our teachers are the backbone of education, and this session has further equipped them for success,” the Principal said.

Participants expressed gratitude for the well-organized session, emphasizing how beneficial the experience had been.

“The facilitators broke down each topic so clearly that I feel more confident going into the exam,” said a teacher from a Primary School.

The Tutorial Planning Committee extended appreciation to all stakeholders who made the event a success.
