NYCN Epe Empowers 20 Youths as Fashion Designers at 2024 Conference
No fewer than 20 youths from the Epe Division were equipped and graduated as fashion designers at the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Epe Division 2024 Conference.
The conference, held today, 13th December 2024, at the Local Government Council Chamber, Itamarun, Epe, Lagos State, featured several activities, including a speech by Honorable Sesan Abdullahi Olowa, an address by the Chairman of the Occasion, Chief Wasiu Olaomopo Ayeola, an award ceremony, and the graduation of empowered youths.

During the event, hosted by the NYCN Epe, it was disclosed that Rep. Wale Raji, Representative of Epe Division at the Federal Constituency, provided 20 manual sewing machines in support of the NYCN Epe empowerment scheme.
Rep. Wale Raji, who was represented at the event, was duly recognized, appreciated, and commended for his contributions to the Epe Division. The training facilitator displayed the graduates who had successfully completed their fashion design training.
Graduates beamed with excitement as they were individually presented with certificates and a manual sewing machine.
In an interview, one of the empowerment beneficiaries, Mr. Adebola Joseph, expressed his gratitude to the organizers and the training facilitator. He also appealed to the youths of Epe Division to leverage such opportunities.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank the coordinators of this program and also urge the youths to take this kind of opportunity seriously,” he said.
Beyond this remarkable scheme, the NYCN Epe Branch has facilitated and recorded several impactful training sessions over the years.
